At Kingdom Centre, Zegna’s new Negozio brings together Italian craftsmanship, Saudi context and the enduring landscape of Oasi Zegna.

There are few luxury houses for whom nature is quite as integral to the story as ZEGNA. More than a backdrop or source of inspiration, the landscape surrounding the brand’s historic home in northern Italy has shaped its understanding of material, craftsmanship and permanence for more than a century. Now, in the heart of Riyadh, that philosophy takes architectural form.

Zegna has unveiled its new Negozio at Kingdom Centre, a 330-square-metre boutique designed to reflect the house’s contemporary global identity while responding thoughtfully to its Saudi setting. Developed under the artistic direction of Alessandro Sartori, the space brings together the quiet precision of Italian design with references to regional craft and culture, creating an environment that feels less like a conventional retail floor and more like an immersive expression of the maison’s world.

The façade is defined by Zegna’s distinctive woven wooden pattern, an instantly recognisable signature inspired by the textures of fabric and the physicality of craftsmanship. Inside, a bespoke tapestry occupies the wall to the left of the entrance, created by Sardinian artist Mariantonia Urru. Drawing on the ancient weaving traditions of Sardinia alongside motifs inspired by classical Arab decorative heritage, the work offers a considered meeting point between two distinct craft cultures. It is a fitting introduction to a boutique built around the idea that heritage is not something to be preserved behind glass, but something capable of travelling, adapting and acquiring new meaning.

Opposite the entrance, a more relaxed area houses Zegna’s luxury leisurewear collections, alongside a dedicated fragrance corner showcasing MEMORIE, the house’s fragrance collection unveiled in February 2026. Further into the boutique, a Zegna-patterned portal marks the entrance to the VIP room, conceived as a private environment for the house’s select clientele. Here, the mood shifts towards discretion and personalised service, with an elegant lounge, bespoke display areas and a travertine-framed bar creating a space designed for conversation rather than circulation.

Beyond a mirrored door is the Made to Measure room, where grey-toned plaster walls and warm walnut panelling provide a quieter setting for the house’s tailoring offering. A central table, finished with grey marble legs, displays an edit of fine fabrics, turning the selection process into an experience of material and craftsmanship in its own right.
