Reimagined in radiant pink and white gold, FRED’s latest Chance Infinie creations transform the universal symbol of infinity into diamond-set talismans celebrating the courage to shape one’s own future. The French Maison unveils four new jewellery designs, where fluid lines, precious metals and pavé diamonds converge in an expression of contemporary femininity.

The collection draws on the philosophy of founder Fred Samuel, whose instinctive approach to life and business was guided by an openness to the signs and opportunities around him. Recalling his belief in the significance of symbols and intuition, Chance Infinie translates this outlook into a bespoke design language. At its heart is the lemniscate, the mathematical symbol for infinity, reinterpreted as an elegant, open-ended knot. Its form also evokes an inverted figure eight, a number with particular significance for Samuel, who was born in August 1908. Associated across cultures with prosperity and good fortune, the eight becomes a subtle reference to destiny, while the motif’s delicately untied ends suggest a future that remains open to possibility.

The latest chapter introduces four creations in pink and white gold, each exploring the signature motif through a balance of softness and structure. A slender ring traces the finger like a ribbon, its fluid knot illuminated by pavé-set white diamonds that catch the light with every movement. The same sinuous form appears on a delicate necklace and bracelet, positioned horizontally along fine diamond-trace chains that enhance their luminosity.

Completing the quartet, a pair of earrings presents the motif vertically, lending its organic curves a more sculptural quality. What distinguishes Chance Infinie is its approach to fine jewellery as personal talismans, carrying an emotional significance that sits alongside their craftsmanship. The open knot becomes a reminder that destiny is not necessarily something to be discovered, but something to be shaped through the willingness to embrace the unexpected.
