Zegna’s Summer 2026 collection is a proposition for a return to the foundations of Italian style, refinement, and enduring codes reworked with precision. With Summer 2026, Zegna positions itself firmly within a quieter register of luxury, one that prioritises longevity over statement, and refinement over excess. The result is a collection that does not seek to reinterpret the Italian summer, but to articulate it with clarity. Unveiling its new collection, Zegna frames its narrative at Lake Maggiore, a location that reflects both heritage and continuity for the maison. Positioned at the edge of the Italian Alps and within reach of Oasi Zegna—the 100-square-kilometre landscape developed by founder Ermenegildo Zegna—the setting reinforces the brand’s long-standing dialogue between environment and design.

The campaign is fronted by house ambassador Mads Mikkelsen, whose presence aligns with the collection’s understated direction. Moving through Piedmont’s lakeside terrain, the campaign captures the journey across the lake aboard the Riva Aquarama, designed by Carlo Riva. Long associated with Italian leisure and design excellence, the Aquarama serves as a visual extension of Zegna’s own values where craftsmanship, functionality, and aesthetics are resolved into a single, coherent form.

At the centre of the collection is Oasi Lino, developed using 100% traceable European-grown flax fibres. The material anchors the season’s emphasis on transparency and provenance, while delivering the breathability and lightness required for high-summer dressing. It is paired with blends of linen, cotton, and cashmere engineered to balance structure with ease. The house’s Mocassin loafer also returns as a constant within the wardrobe, designed for fluid transitions across the day, from mornings by the water to late evenings in town. The collection’s palette draws directly from the surrounding landscape. Pine green reflects the alpine vegetation, taupe references sun-warmed stone, and soft white captures the luminosity of the lake. Across the collection, detailing remains intentionally restrained, allowing construction and materiality to define each piece.
