New York, the biting cold of a snowy February during Fashion Week, and a mission for Bar Refaeli: to cut the inaugural ribbon of the new Hublot boutique on Fifth Avenue, while wearing a dress and a watch created especially for her from Saint-Gall silk thread. So little time for the interview and photos, yet suddenly, magic gracefully lent itself to the moment, as if time had expanded in beauty: “Why wait until she was finished getting ready?” The authenticity before our eyes was in the spark of the moment, and what was meant to be just a lighting test became an entire editorial.
