In its perpetual quest for excellence, global openness, innovation, and creativity, Vacheron Constantin recently added a new chapter to its artistic collaboration series, “One of Not Many.” The world’s oldest watchmaking maison partnered with Haute Couture designer Yiqing Yin to create two exceptional timepieces—part of the brand’s Égérie collection—subtly blending Haute Couture with Haute Horlogerie.
Complementing a first limited-edition Égérie moonphase watch, Yiqing Yin pushed the boundaries of possibility by introducing the world of Haute Perfumery into her second creation. This technical feat is realized through the concept watch, The Pleats of Time, whose strap houses microcapsules of perfume—an exclusive mineral elixir crafted by master perfumer Dominique Ropion, releasing its scent randomly with the movement of the wrist. The pinnacle of elegance, this one-of-a-kind piece in rose gold is accompanied by a Haute Couture gown, whose delicate fabrics echo the pleated movements of the dial.
