ISSUE No.06, 2013:  Xenia Tchoumitcheva, the first star to appear on the cover of Eyes Magazine, photographed by Jo Simoes.

Her face, perfectly symmetrical, lit up the entire city. Xenia Tchoumi had completely taken over Geneva’s billboards for the launch of this new format, printed on vellum paper. She herself was an invitation to discover a reimagined world of luxury, with the quality of refined content and a textured finish. Xenia was far more than just a symbol—she was a message: success smiles also upon the challengers. Like a bold “be who you want to be.” And by extension, be the magazine you want to be. A revolution. One hundred and fifty pages. A paper beyond compare. Large-format photos. At a time when the entire press was cutting costs, it was pure audacity. Against the current. And it was a phenomenal success.
