Inspired by the children’s game “peek-a-boo, I see you,” it has always cultivated the art of contrast, between clean, restrained lines and the unexpected richness of its interior finishes.
For Spring/Summer 2026, Fendi returns to the purest DNA of the Peekaboo, pushing this dialogue between restraint and brilliance even further. Beneath exteriors of controlled elegance lie true treasures, unveiled through the precise gesture of the twist-lock closure, forming the iconic “smile” that has become its signature.
Inside, Fendi orchestrates an explosion of craftsmanship. Sequins, pearls, crystals, and studs compose precious landscapes, each entirely handcrafted. Some pieces require more than forty hours of work, where violet sequins illuminate mahogany-brown leather, while shades of turquoise and emerald green unfold in asymmetrical compositions. The pinnacle of this artisanal celebration is a high-jewellery version in pink mink, adorned with an abstract floral embroidery fully executed in pearls, demanding over two hundred hours of craftsmanship. Through this new interpretation, the Peekaboo asserts more than ever a vision of femininity, bold without ever being imposing, sophisticated, instinctive, and free.
