Recently, we had the privilege of returning to Maranello, the cradle of automotive legends, to discover the convertible version of the 296 GTB. Upon our arrival at the Ferrari factory, we were greeted by a fleet of 296 GTS in Blu Corsa. After the usual formalities and technical briefing, it was time to embark on our initial mission: unleashing the Italian thoroughbred on the roads from Maranello to Forte dei Marmi, renowned for its pristine beaches and glamorous atmosphere.
Behind the wheel, with the retractable hardtop lowered, the 296 GTS revealed its true character, delivering a truly remarkable driving experience. The roof splits into two sections that fold flat over the front of the engine, unveiling a magnificent view of the car’s beating heart: a revolutionary 830-horsepower hybrid powertrain.

This masterpiece combines a 663-horsepower turbocharged V6 engine with a 167-horsepower rear electric motor, creating the perfect synergy between tradition and innovation, continuously sending chills down our spines with Ferrari’s unmistakable roar.
The allure of this machine goes far beyond its formidable performance. Every line and curve of its design exudes elegance and sophistication, from the sleek exterior contours to the minimalist purity of the digital cockpit interface. With Italian leather finishes and noble materials adorning every surface, the 296 GTS cocoons its occupants in a world of luxury and refinement. As a whole, the 296 GTS stands as a testament to Ferrari’s unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of automotive innovation.
